DESCRIPTION:One of the world’s only conferences featuring plastic surgery\, facial plastic surgery\, dermatology and oculoplastic surgery. \nThe Global Aesthetics Conference (GAC) was created by Dr. S Randolph Waldman to bring together Key Opinion Leaders from the four core aesthetic specialties – Facial Plastic Surgery\, Dermatology\, Plastic Surgery\, and Oculoplastic Surgery – in a collegial and apolitical environment. It is the only true multispecialty event in the world that is not organized under the banner of a large corporate entity. \nDr. Waldman has now organized over 50 major conferences. He is the founder and former director of the Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Conference as well as multiple conferences under the banner of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. These physicians integrate the clinical information with microscopic observations of the biopsy from the patient to provide diagnostic information to the treating physician. Dermatopathology is a consultative service to the referring dermatologist and not simply a laboratory test. The accurate microscopic interpretation of the biopsy is important in the selection of appropriate therapies.
