Pigmentary Disorders Exchange Symposium

June 11, 2027 - June 12, 2027

Pigmentary disorders are among the most common and most challenging conditions dermatology clinicians treat. The 5th Annual Pigmentary Disorders Exchange (PDE) Symposium is the only meeting dedicated entirely to them, bringing together leading experts for two focused days on melasma, vitiligo, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and more, with practical strategies for patients of every skin type.

Led by Dr. Pearl E. Grimes

The symposium is chaired by Pearl E. Grimes, MD, FAAD, Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA and Director of The Vitiligo and Pigmentation Institute of Southern California, one of the most respected voices in pigmentary disorders worldwide.

She is joined by an outstanding faculty that includes Susan C. Taylor, Jean Bolognia, Seemal R. Desai, Iltefat Hamzavi, Heather Woolery-Lloyd, David Rosmarin, Roopal V. Kundu, Mona A. Gohara, Jill S. Waibel, Kachiu C. Lee, Neal Bhatia, Sewon Kang, Tiffany T. Mayo and many more.

What’s on the Program

The agenda is built around masterclasses, case based discussions and live demonstrations, including:

  • Melasma Masterclass: what drives melasma, plus medical and procedural treatment with a live demonstration
  • Pigmentary Sequelae of Inflammatory Skin Disease: early intervention and PIH management in acne, atopic dermatitis and psoriasis
  • Energy Based Devices Across Phototypes: parameters, endpoints and safety for every skin type
  • Vitiligo in the Clinic: case based strategies for stabilization and repigmentation
  • Photodamage and Photoprotection: including skin cancer surveillance, with a live demonstration
  • Hyperpigmentation and Hypopigmentation Masterclass: diagnosis and treatment pathways
  • Interactive Grand Rounds Finale: live case discussion and table consensus to close out the meeting

Panels, expert roundtables and extended Q&A give attendees plenty of time to bring their own clinical questions to the experts.

Attendees can earn up to 12.0 CME/CE credits.
