South Beach Symposium

South Beach Symposium marks a major milestone in 2027, celebrating 25 years as one of the most popular dermatology meetings in the country. Held at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, the three day conference blends medical and aesthetic dermatology with live demonstrations, hands on workshops and a lively South Beach atmosphere, followed by a dedicated longevity and regenerative medicine workshop on February 7.
Conference Leadership
The 2027 meeting is chaired by Christopher Bunick, MD, PhD of Yale School of Medicine, who leads the medical dermatology program, and cosmetic dermatologist David Goldberg, MD, JD. Faculty include Andrew Alexis, Neal Bhatia, Suneel Chilukuri, Adelaide Hebert, Leon Kircik, Karan Lal, Peter Lio, Natasha Mesinkovska, Mona Shahriari, Ruth Ann Vleugels and many more leaders in the field.
What’s on the Agenda
Each day mixes medical and aesthetic content, so attendees get a complete update in one trip.
Medical dermatology highlights include psoriasis and the next wave of biologics and oral therapies, atopic dermatitis, alopecia and scalp disorders, hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, rosacea, chronic itch, hyperhidrosis, pigment disorders like melasma and vitiligo, cutaneous oncology, wound care, and the connection between rheumatology and dermatology. A debate on JAK inhibitor safety is sure to be a standout.
Aesthetic dermatology sessions cover regenerative treatments like exosomes and cell based therapies, fillers, neurotoxins, cosmeceuticals, managing aesthetic complications and live device demonstrations.
Whole patient health is a growing theme, with sessions on GLP-1 medications and the skin, women’s health, menopause and longevity.

Who Should Attend
South Beach Symposium welcomes dermatologists, residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, allied health professionals and students. With dedicated programming for residents and APPs, it’s an especially strong meeting for clinicians early in their careers. Accredited continuing education is available for eligible sessions.
